Communitainment Projects
For the GungHo Group, our “community” is of paramount importance. We are launching various content (online games, mini games, music, movies, information dissemination, e-commerce) one by one on “GungHo Games,” an online amusement park run by GungHo Mode, one of our subsidiaries, with a view to achieving “communitainment media,” which is a comprehensive synthesis of the concepts of community and entertainment. At the “GungHo Games” site, users can create their own avatar, which serves as an online image of themselves. The site offers a place where people can build a community characterized by free communication.

An avatar is an on-screen representation of oneself. In selecting face shape, hairstyle, clothing, and accessories as you like, you can create your own unique avatar. At GungHo Games, users can enjoy changing the fashion on their avatars, the interior design of the room, etc., utilizing these avatars to communicate with each other, build communities through conversation and make more online friends.
